Thursday, November 30th, 1978 – Went against my will to church to practice program for W.M.S. Christmas meeting – Lighting candles again??
Saturday, November 30th, 2013 – Worked on school project with a friend; took car in to shop (needed new spark plugs); groceries & errands; talked to C.; went to a nice party in the evening. Nice to meet new people.
Saturday, November 29th, 1947 – Snow plow made its first trip through.
Friday, November 29th, 2013 – Full day at school, though not terribly productive. More runaround with where I can install my work. Back to square one. Curling tonight. Small improvements every week.
Tuesday, November 28th, 1972 – Pleasant. Terrible office fire at New Orleans. Snowplow up & down yesterday. My cheque came at last. To town & shopped & I stayed at Jean’s from 3 to 10:45 to help to quilt.
Thursday, November 28th, 2013 – Not the most productive day academically. Errands in the morning, woodshop in the afternoon. Managed to tear more paper this evening. Hope to get some clarity on where I get to install soon.
Sunday, November 27th, 1980 – Murray’s came over & got my coloured tv down in lower living room & got cable moved in here.
Wednesday, November 27th, 2013 – spent the day at home. Bad headache but managed to get a fair bit of work done. Snowy and blustery this morning.
Friday, November 26th, 1948 – Holiday for school kids in honour of Princess Elizabeth’s son. Glenn & I cleaned up & burned raspberry canes & burdocks!
Tuesday, November 26th, 2013 – Final project consumes my thoughts and hours.
Monday, November 25th, 1946 – Making aprons by hand. A. tried to plow with tractor but too wet so gave up.
Monday, November 25th, 2013 – Dropped some prints off at MS for a potential sale. Full day at school, mostly tearing paper. Big, big job.
Friday, November 24th, 1972 – Very dull. Went to Library & got 4 books. A noisy class was there! Sent card to Les & Gertie for 40th wedding Anniversary to be held at Stayner tonight.
Sunday, November 24th, 2013 – Productive day – groceries, laundry, snow shoveling, and school work. To church this evening.
Thursday, November 23rd, 950 – Lovely day. Mr. Steer here nailing loose steel on barn roof & pulling shed beams together. G. coughing constantly. We took him to Dr. when we were at Schneider supper.
Saturday, November 23rd, 2013 – Bright, cold, sunny day. Spent all of it in the studio. Working on a book project. Hope it turns out. Thai take-out for supper.
Thursday, November 22nd, 1973 – 10 years ago Pres. John F. Kennedy assassinated in Dallas, Texas. A. in bush again.
Friday, November 22nd, 2013 – Made paper. Two studio visits. Promising and discouraging at the same time. Skipped curling.
Monday, November 21st, 1977 – Tired & tough all day. Painting & flaps cost $135.00. To Marian’s at pm for a Tupperware party. Ordered $17.28 – 3 rigid bowls 6.98 & Busy Blocks 8.89 for grandchildren.
Thursday, November 21st, 2013 – Cold day (felt like -25C this morning). Finally got snow tires. Worked on next installation, worked in woodshop and did errands (need 16,000 straight pins – only 14,000 more to go).
